Summary

Xtreme FieldNotes keeps your work on your device. We don't show ads, run analytics or receive the data sheets you create.

Your sign-in

If you use the app through this website, we store your name, email address, role and a securely hashed password so you can sign in. We also record when you last signed in. Your administrator can add or remove your account.

Information stored on your device

The data sheets you fill in, the map or photo images you lock to them, and your markups are saved in the app's storage on your phone, tablet or browser. They stay there until you delete them, clear the browser's site data, or remove the app. Backups you export are files you control.

Location

If you tap the location button, the app asks permission to read your device's location to center the map. The location is used on the device only. When you lock a map area, its coordinates are saved in that sheet on your device.

Camera and photos

If you add a photo, the app opens the photo you pick so you can mark it up. Photos are stored only inside the sheet on your device.

Contact form

When you send the contact form, we receive the details you enter so we can reply. We don't sell or share them.

Third-party services

• Map imagery (Esri ArcGIS). When the map is showing, the app downloads map tiles from Esri, which receives standard request information such as your IP address and the area being viewed.
• Address search (OpenStreetMap Nominatim). When you search an address, the text you type is sent to OpenStreetMap's search service.
• Fonts (Google Fonts). This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts.

Children

Xtreme FieldNotes is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 13.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
